ive got a bit of problem ,you see my car was broken into with the steering wheel snapped(sheered thread) off. the coloum has been replaced but only has 1 green wire to feed the horn.(obviously need two) where has the original 1 had red and black the coloum also has movement when you grab the bottom of the steering wheel IT MOVES AN INCH UP AND DOWN
   PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS:roll:
it sounds like the replacement is about as bad as the original. take it back to wherever you got it from..
Q. does the horn work?
Q. does the wheel move vertically or in & out(in line with the shaft)?

it went for its mot then taken home one night by one of the lads who then told me it had been broken into he told me that it been fitted with a astra coloum this might be why it only has the green wire no the horn doesnt work it had a red and black wire on the origanal coloum it doesnt pull in or out just up and down
