i was in town the other day n me sees a grey renault 5 gt turbo with dump valve n as it was comin towards to me at bout 60mph every time he went up a gear the dump valve kicked in but the car would sway to the right everytime :? y??

thats torch stear for you, minis suffer from it bad coz 1 drive shaft is shorter than the other
Bloody ell only pulled to the right? :?
A second gear sprint in my mota spends 40% of time pulling to the left, 40% pulling to the right and the remaining 20% is pure traction :lol:
And before anyone asks what mota it is, just read the description under my picture to the left and that should clear things up.

surely that should be torque steer :)

Yes sorry torque steer.
novas have 1 shaft shorter than other
all fwd cars have one shaft shorter than the other

my gsi suffers like mad with torque steer, when i pull off quick have to fight with the wheel to keep it straight!

isnt that dangerous, i mean wot if u was goin down a tight street with cars on both sides n ur car veers as ur changin gear, thats ur wing mirror gone neway.

the answers easy..........don't rag up tight streets with cars both sides cos u might loose a wing mirror :lol:
