When replacing or taking off a wing is there anyway ofdiconnecting the indicator.(itwill notdisconnect) mate of mine says u have to cut the wire is this true???????

it should disconnect, the contacts have probably corroded to one another, pull hard.

You can disconnect the wiring from inside the footwell and poke it out together with the grommet. There's no way of disconnecting it on the back of the lense.
