Speedo...

i already know my Speedo, rev guage etc is faulty as even now the wires are connecterd the rev guage doesn't work(not sure if thats because it was a 1.2 before maybe someone can shed light on this) But the real problem is my speedo has stopped working and its been since it was sat outside work today ? is this common? easily fixed? anyone that can help me with it thanks ?

I wasnt there when you had the clocks fitted. Was a wire run to the back of the clocks for the rev counter? as it needs this to get a rpm pick up. Speedo could be snapped cable or its just popped off the gearbox end or the back of the clocks.

My money is on the snapped cable as novas an corsa are an **** for doing it.

sorted then, when ever you fit a new cable always pull it back away from the clocks (from in the engine bay) after the clocks are re fitted, this is usualy where they kink iirc?!
