gearbox?

hello, i am building a new engine for autotesting..

wondering what box i should use. i could do with a box with a long first gear or really quick acceleration..

i have the choice of a 4 speed from a 1.2 and a 1.4 sri box..

any ideas what one will be the best?

also will a 1.2 clutch go onto a 1400 sri?

and are all the nova gearbox mountings etc the same..so i could mate any nova box to a nova block??

Sri box as it'll probably be CR.
No std boxes have a long 1st gear only, there either WR, or CR.

1.2 clutch fit fine yeah

F15 CR box would be idea

3.73 1st and 2.14 2nd compared to 3.55 1st and mathcing 2nd on an F13cr.

thing is the FD is 3.74 (unless you get an F15 CR and WR then rebuild the WR FD into the CR box...) 4.18 tastic
