gearbox choice

Iv got 1.4 sr nova and i have just got 1.6 engine out of an astra and i have bin told that it will accelerate faster wiv the box off my sr. Is this true. Is it worth swapping them. Cheers for any advice :thumb:

the sr box will be closer ratio no doubt, really isnt worth the hassle just leave the 1600 box on it

What astra engine is it? If you're going to swap the box over, it'd probably be best to fit a nova gte close ratio box (F13)

The sr box probably wont fit anyway.
