right where do i start, i have owned this car since i was 17, so that makes it nearly 5 years now, and in that time it has taken many diffrent forms.
it started life as a 1.2 nova merit and was in a very clean state when i first bought it,
the car as it stands today has a C20XE conversion (taken from an astra GTE) and is regesterd as a 2.0l on all documents,
structuraly the car has no rust and has been weilded along all seams to stop the 2.0l pulling it apart, the bottom is undersealed and all 4 arches are nearly perfect, all interior has been stripped (including dash) and replaced with 2 very good quality bucket seats and 2 4point harneses that are indate untill 2010 and a digi dash removed also from the Astra GTE, the car also sports the full GTE body kit, bumpers skirts and spoiler and also runs on a set of absoultly mint corsa GSi alloys with 4 road leagal yokohama tyres.
the brakes have been upgraded to astra GTE front components (the rear components and V6 front components will be included in the sale but i never felt the need to fit either) all brake lines were renewd when the conversion was carried out just over 8months ago
in way of maintenance the engine has this week recieved a full head rebuild including new headgasket, cambelt, valves, guides, springs thermostat etc, whist the head was off it was skimmed ported and polished on the inlet side, all of which has been photographed and documented, in the past 8months the car has recieved a full service twice with an oil change between services, the engine runs very smoothy and does not smoke even at high revs,
in way of performance the C20XE also has a powercap a remapped ECU(dyno'd in the Astra @176FWHP, but no recent figures) and and a Quaife LSD which makes a huge diffrence to traction in the wet and cornering. the exhaust system is a costom built straight through with a magnatex ss backbox.the car is rarely driven hard and has never seen a track.
before the engine was implanted into the car it underwent a full body respray in the original vauxhall glacier white and brake caliper respray in red.
im sure there is loads i have left out and all questions are welcome,
this car is my pride and joy and one of the cleanest examples of a nova i have seen in a long time, for this reason im looking for offers in the reigon of ?1200
