View Full Version : New head for my E16SE

Well I say E16SE... I'm using a 16SV block which AFAIK is identical to the E16SE block. However I require a new head for it as I've recently found it's just the standard 16SV head with the 16SE inlet bolted on (thanks flangy007 ).

What heads will fit and what will be their effects of compression ratio? Am I right in thinking the E16SE and C16SE heads are the same? Will a C14SE head fit or will the valves touch the pistons?

Any help is appreciated and required ASAP.

16Sv head, what a fcuking nightmare.

That will have been costing you about 10bhp.

Use a e16 or c16se head(ideally e16, to make sure it has the egr valve hole) C16 will work tho.
C14 one will push compression up too high.

Thats shocking, really dont know why people love those engines, the c14se head will fit but it has a very different combustion chamber, the e16se and 16se should be the same though.

I dont know the what they are like on the 16sv though, dont really have much to do the girly small blocks lol
