Auto Choke

:( Bastard Choke, I had a new Choke housing fitted on the weekend and now the car is a absolute bugger to start in the morning!! ( I have a hole in the exhaust)

Starting Program:

1: Blip throttle

2:Turn key

3:Pray

4:Listen to tank like noises coming from exhaust

5:Shake with the car

6:Start mashing the throttle into the floor.. :o

7:And then eventually it will start to even out and idle.

Anybody got any ideas????? :?:

could be loads of things. If the choke is new, then unlikely to be that. Best taking it to an experienced motor mechanic and usually just by the sound of it they can tell you whats wrong then drive off quickly before he charges you and fix it yourself. BINGO!!!

the choke is spring loaded and the car will run like that if its not set precisely
