Ideal for the kind of people that hold their HONDAs on the limiter, whilst stationary at the local carpark.

The Big Pretender.
On a serious note... I always thought painting standard calipers silver made them look bigger against 3 spoke GTE/GSI Ronals.

Not always an option if your doing things legally by declaring and can't afford the price tag or the increase in premium.

Do brakes affect a premium that much? I've had a set of 2L brakes for about 2 years now, still on the garage shelf.

Classed as a performance modification enabling you to brake later... thus increasing the chance of you crashing if you brake too late.
It sucks that things that could potentially save your life but your premium up.... ie brakes, roll cage etc.
If for example you stuffed your car into the back of someone at a round about and an investigator was sent to examine your car for the premium and they noticed you had 2l brakes on without declaring them they have every right to void your policy.
Obviously that's worse case scenario.
A lot of everyday standard insurers won't cover you for any mods other than wheels and stereo.

But if that were the case, then the fake brakes would also be considered a "mod" and put your premium up.
