i am looking to see if anyone has an adapter plate to fit the suzuki swift gti engine to the nova gearbox i will be willing to buy it from you... Or if anyone has any info on making one or where i can find one i'm all ears

to my knowledge, no one here even knows a Swift engine fits, let alone would have the parts lol

awrite wel the engine does fit as you weld in a new engine mount and then there is a metal adaptor plate that you use to fit the engine on to the gearbox housinglollol

there is a guy on here that knows alot about the conversion..cant remember his name though.

i also forgot the two places you can get the adapter plate from..a guy in scotland called Bill does them iirc..forgot his full name and where abouts he is..

i will try and hunt out the info i have at home tonight and let you know..

Ive always known that it fits:confused:

Its said to be a very competetive engine in the Nova too.

With regards the adaptor plate, would ebay or similar not have said item?

lol i know they fit lol ive driven one myself (Rally Car) but not many others acutally do, let alone the how twos of fitting one

Bill Faulkner in Scotland is the man to speak to.

There's loads of Novas and Corsas rallying with the Swift GTi motor mated up with the F10 or F13 gearbox.

Eurorallye have had quite a few swift powered nova's. Fab engine 16V and alloy block:D

May be worth emailing/phoning them.

yes i run one in my nova ....will never go back vaux now its mint!!!!
bill falconer in scotland does the plate and engine mount
still needs to fabricate a couple of bits (really easy)
and need a clutch from helix to do the job right which aint cheep!!!
im rallying at melbourne airfield nr york on sunday so anyone near come and have a nosey!!!
