ok i know nova dials are out by a bit but mine are out by a lot i mean i lot. thy read 50 at 30. its not the gear box or anything wo do with the box as its been replaced anyidea?
and changing to a digi dash make a difference?

had this problem. changed the cable still the same. try changing the clocks they mite be faulyy. thats what was wrong with mine.
ok so you think digi dash will cure it ?

Timmy...
Your clocks have probably become un-calibrated at some point by someone removing the needles. If the clocks are functioning properly they probably just need re-calibrating.
You will need GPS and a friend to help...
1) Remove speedo needle before setting off.
2) Set up your GPS and drive along a nice straight road eg. motorway where you can maintain a constant speed.
2) Once maintaining a constant speed (say 50mph) get your friend to push the needle back onto your speedo in the correct position.
4) Change speed and test if the reading is accurate compared to the GPS... re-calibrate as necessary.
