paint matching

does anyone know what colour the vynal is on a mk1 SR ? i need to spray some bumpers and it needs to match the vynal

depends on the batch of vynal. the problem you'll find is over the years the vynal will fade.

Some fancy paint suppliers can scan the colour and make paint to match however they need a sample. Cant imagine you taking your whole door to them and saying "hey mate can you match this!"

Aye, hurricane grey doesn't quite match it. I dont think there is a colour that 100% matches it. Unless you had it custom mixed.

I used hurricane grey, but I think someone else said peugeot cossack grey was better.

never thought about the vynal fading either so taking the door down doesnt seem a bad idea
