hi my girlfriend has got a gte we have had the engine re-built and put it on a rolling road once it was all run in and it made 101.8 bhp which i am happy with on the rolling road graph it is showing the fuel is runing a bit lean so i have been told to look at geting a adjustable fuel pressure regulator so was wordering if any one knows what it best to set the fuel pressure at? thanks dan

you can adjust air fuel ratio on the mass air flow meter
good power tho

you need to do it on an emissions machine i think it should be at 1.5 co on the e16se engine

thats Idle emissions ONLY. Not for the top end.

adjustable FPR's tend to be crap (lean bottom end for a rich top end, and vice versa)

How lean did it go?

Just take the standard fpr off and give it a squeeze in a vice, giving increased pressure all the time. I've known a few people do it and not have a problem.

dont put it in a vice !! the best way is to have the fpr fitted while having a pressure gauge in operation then tap the top of the reg with a 11mm socket and tap it with a hammer.

And if the fuel rail cracks whilst you're hitting it? (Possible)
