fuel pump

trying to source a fuel pump for my x16xe conversion, a sperious one for a gsi is 170euro, cant afford that at the minute, was wondering that if i got any pump once it was an inline pump and producing 1 bar pressure would i be safe enough, and its not going to cause any problems

1bar pressure is no where near enough.
Any MPi vauxhall pump is fine.

generally 3 bar systems

would most 1.6 cars be running a 3 bar pump, might go looking for one in a scrapyard next saturday for one, if i got one off say a 2.0 car would it be too much or would it be ok

any calibra pump, or a cav mpi pump, will do bud, i sure other makes fuell pump will work if you cant find one, but it needs to be atleast 3 bar.
