The time has come to let my nova go, most people have seen it at the shows this year but due to loosing my job it has killed my motivation to rebuild the nova for next year.
Anyway here is the spec:
Engine:
1.3 8v (genuine 42k)
32/34 webber carb
Ashley 4 branch manifold
Ashley 2" bore system with 3" tailpipe (done about 500 miles)
Tranmission:
F10 c/r gearbox (genuine 42k)
Suspension:
Spax Dampers with spax 60mm springs (anyone who has been out in the car cant believe how well it handles)
Brakes:
256mm ate (2.0 16v) brakes, standard rears.(discs are warped but another set of discs is included)
Wheels/tyres:
Vauxhall Cavalier Gsi alloys refurbed in Hurricane Grey (scratches on one wheel)
Federal tyres, 195/45x15". Front 2 have scrubing on inside edge due to the camber.
Bodywork:
Standard Nova sr in carmine red.
Nova sr rear spoiler.
Spanish style number plates.
Inner front arches painted red.
Interior:
Nova Sr steering wheels and gearknob.
Astra Gte rainbow front seats.
Nova gsi doorcards.
Stripped out rear.
Security:
Full cat 1 alarm and immobilser.
The shell itself is very clean, only bit of rust is the drivers side rear arch lip, its just bubbled under the vynal, still solid just bubbles.
One major problem is i had a crash coming back from eurofest back in September and took out the front bumper, headlight and indicator and front wing and bent the slam panel.
Ive had my bodywork guy look over it and he says it not that bad and quite an easy fix for him.
Included in the sale is a brand new genuine passenger front wing, never painted.
The drivers door has been broken into twice so is pritty knackerd and bent but included in the sale is two brand new genuine doors that i got off Keith Robinson, never painted.
There is also some scuffs on the rear quarter and the bottom of the rear bumper, the splitter is white instead of grey.
Sounds alot but it was an everyday car and stuff happens, but with a respray you will have one concourse nova, and just dont have the motivation to throw any more money at it.
Unfortunatly there is no mot, but is taxed till Feb 08.
If it doesnt sell it will be broken for parts which would be a shame cos it is one very clean nova.
