Lancy - a.k.a. Brett (Warburton) on the Cruise South board. Minty Green Nova also on front cover, though on T.V., not Revs. And a feature in Max Power. Possibly.

Depends. if you spend ?25,000 all at once on a Nova and mods, then it might be peculiar.

But if you spend a few grand, and it get's closer to being you ideal car/Nova and you're likely to lose more when you sell anyway... so you spend a bit more... and it get's even closer to your ideal... and etc. Till you count up all the pennies and you've spent ?25,000. I've spend ?10,000 and it's nowhere near finished. Although whether it will ever be what i call 'finished' is another matter. If a certain part is f u c k i n' trick then the rest has to match, so sometimes you deliberately hold yourself back and create something smart as f u c k, but nowhere near as good/mad (or expensive) as what you could have (if you spent more).

I'll just stick to having one cool Nova and go totally all out on my next mota. Now that will kick ass. (Although so does my nova).

Actually out of all the Nova's featured in mags so far, none of them have been 'The Ultimate', as each seems to 'excell' at one thing or another, but not overall. Depends on what you 'value' in a motor. Speed? Handling? Looks? Comfort? and etc. See to someone who holds one of these things more important to another, will improve that thing the most, and even if they do all the others too, there particular 'thing' will still dominate. Big wheels look best, but are not best when it comes to handling and etc.

It would only be The Ultimate when each of these things was the best, but in perfectly equal balance to each other.

And as for people considering/attempting to fit ?20's to a Nova. B i i i i i i itch, please! Stop being tw@s.

FIT WHEELS TO A CAR, NOT A CAR TO A SET OF WHEELS!!!!

Yes big wheels look better. BUT they look better on a car that you can actually fit them to without rendering it virtually undrivable. Yes it'll look good, but it's still a f u c k i n' car. When you look at a car and all you can see are the wheels, then you've gone ott. And 19's on Novas are as close to the line of ott as you can get. I say stick to 18's if you must go big. At least on a Nova anyway. If you must get 20's get a f u c k i n' RX7 or something you can fit them to without totally butchering the car.

And lancy. Your nova looks good overall, but those wheels do absolutely nothing to it. And i mean the style, not the size. Why fit wheels just for the sake of fitting 19's? Since you admit to picking those wheels because of the cost, so if you couldn't afford decent looking wheels in 19 inches (and making them fit), you should have stuck to 18's or even 17's but got something that suits the car. Would you have put those wheels on in a smaller size if you couldn't get 19's on? I seriously doubt it. You did it purely because you had to have 19's on no matter what. 'Oh look i've got 19" wheels on a Nova'. But they look s h i t ! Now look at Karthiks Nova, those wheels would have looked good even if they were 15 inches on that car. But the fact that they were 19's made it that bit more mad.

people are making their cars to what the mags want not what they want regardless of whether it looks nice.

only reason you'd put 19s on is to try and get a cover, no other reason as they look to big and they certainly dont help drivability.

some people cat stop b4 it becomes OTT.
