IVE JUST REFITTED MY WHOLE DASH THEN WHEN I STARTED MY CAR I NOTICHED IT WAS IDLEIN AT AROUND 2/3 REVS I HAVE A PIRESBURG 2E CARB IVE HAD A LOOK AND CARNT FIND ME PROB

does it sound as though the engine is idling faster?

If not it could be something to do with the connections to the dash. Maybe something got trapped when u put the dash back together?

Did you change yer dials during the refit - if so, did you mark the needle offsets?
