Although if anybody is willing to queue up til stupid o'clock in the evening to get the latest bit of iTat from Mr Jobs, surely they'd have imported one from the states and run one of the plethora of well-advertised unlocking hacks.

I did like the way some media sources were reporting on the iPhone being like a revolution in the phone market. Step backwards if you ask me. Lets compare it to my 6680, which in comparison is archaic and should be beaten well into touch by the iTurd... my 6680 has Internet, check. 2mp camera, check. Has an MP3 player, check. 3G, check. Can run third party apps, check. Flash on camera, check. Can run on other networks, check. Comes on contract for free, check. Has expandable memory, check. Oh... wait, it appears we've lost the iPlop somewhere along there...

got the GF an LG viewty yesterday..... awesome for a media phone!
I had a play with an iPhone while waiting for her to sort the viewty stuff out in the shop.... its far from fcuking intuative, atleast not as intuative as the LG item :D

Probably, and no doubt identified it as a pile of iCrap. Which it is, compared to most Euro phones, although in America they still have mob-sorry, cellphones, with extendable ariels so you can imagine why they're getting so fanatical about this. 3G is still new ground over there, hence why the iPleb doesn't have it.

Yes, it has a 2mp camera. No flash though. It did start comparing quite well to the 6680 but then went downhill lol

The only thing the ipoo had over most phones is Wifi, but then how long till the nextgen sony's, samsungs and Nokias do too? And 2mp camera? Thats just not trying! My Sony is nearly a year old and has a 3.2, and its replacement has a 5!

I wouldn't worry. The Duel core systems have two processors but they just share the same chip. Same difference really.

I love the way that Mac's are branded as "Designer systems" i.e. for graphic designers, shame you can't properly profile the monitor to the printer!

As for the iPhone, why would i want to carry one device that does three jobs badly? I don't own midi systems or coffee machine radios, IMHO whenever an item tries to do more than one job it does neither particularly well.

I had an iphone for all of 3 days! Bought one from America unlocked. Thinking back im supprised i kept it that long. Absolute ****e as a phone/camera. The menus were badly organised the blue tooth only wanted to work now and again. Nice talking point, for all of 5min. G/f just got a viewty 10x's better imo. Im sure i saw nokias equivilant advertised somwhere, although ive gone off them since my n73 had shed loads of software faults. God im hard to please lol

What operating system does the viewty use? I had an LG a few years back, was an Ok phone except that it had some crappy own-brand LG operating system that crashed constantly.
