Rallycross at Croft last weekend

Hi all,

I had a VIP invitation to Croft circuit last weekend to watch the rallycross day. It was an excellent day with loads of action, some close up pit walkabouts and some fantasitic cars (with owners or sponsors with deep pockets!)

Took some video , albeit with the normal stills camera so the resolution isn't brill but it gives you an idea!

All in all a great day out - great hospitality from Proctor Transport ,they were running 3 cars a mini, a 4wd Puma and an Exige - all top stuff!

The most mental stuff were the Scandanavians running 2wd Volvo's that were stupid fast! The black Tigra with the V-Tec engine was interesting as well!

they had the british rallycross on over here in northern ireland for a couple of year on the trot and it was bloody excellent

i'd always watched the rallycross on the tv as a young lad ............and it was great to see it over


but now..................its not allowed because of the noise ffs..

i was absolutely disgusted at this news......

it was probabaly the busyiest day at nutts corner in the whole year.....and it had to be axed

****er loacl resisdents..and tree huggers complaining

Its a Saab 93 or 95 - these were the top league cars all 4wd and silly fast - the puma was from the team I had the VIP invite from which finished 3rd overall at the end of the day.

ive took a good look around that tigra before and its very impressisve, the chassis set up its excellent every little detail has been acounted for.... but there all ways room for extra tweeking.

looks like it was a good day!!
