any body know if it is possible to make stubby wing mirrors any help apreciated

what do you mean my stubbys. like m3 mirrors or dtm's etc. duno about making them..you can buy them, but you will have to get base plates for the suitable mirrors to fit a nova.

He means shortened OEM mirrors. Yes it is, all the one ones made have been custom afaik. Don't ask me how tho lol

aye, plastic welding? or increase the weight on your nova ten fold with the power of filler...
Im gonna give it a crack tho, at least, or give to a bodyshop i know.

would need to remove the glass and then cut the mirrors in half and cut out a small section from the middle of them, then plastic weld them back together or fibreglass them from the inside and smooth off the cut from the outside with a skim of filler followed by filler primer or spray putty. as for the glass you'd obviously have to cut this down with a class cutter, it may be best to get this bit done professionally to avoid cracking the glass, any firm who supplies glass can do a good job of this, hope this helps you.

there's the only pic's ive got scott, the've long gone, when the nova went over a year ago, think a lad rexy know's has them on his nova now :(

and no i didnt make them, i bought them off a mate, who's mate made then lol

I could make loads of sets that I wouldnt be quite happy with.

Its because the depth of the black (outer) part, tappers in its width all the way along its length, that you cant just chop it & shorten it. (not without it looking crap anyway). Making the cover is easy.
