View Full Version : camber?
what would cause a dodgy camber on 1 wheel?
like the passenger side goes in at the top of the wheel, but driver side is straight.and the pasenger wheel seems not to stick out as far as the drivers side does???
could it be to do with the coilovers being slightly different heights ? or just dodgy lol
Its possible, although I'd have thought if you can notice the difference in camber you'd be able to notice a difference in height.
Try taking the coilovers off and comparing them side by side to make sure they're both straight.

Check the lower arm bushes and bottom ball joints aswell, either of them being knackered could give extra camber. And make sure the front turrets are still welded in!
not my car but al tell him to try that, but it has had a new bottom crossmember welded in...
possibly not jigged properly? although the welds seem fine, no gaps or out like when it was done if i remember. and that was done months ago and ive never noticed it until now, after the coilovers have been adjusted
What coilovers? FK's have an elongated bolt hole to set camber so possibly set different side to side if those?
Bent steering knuckle maybe. Is the gap between the coilover and the inside of the tyre roughly the same on both sides?
they are fk's yeah, didnt realise you could adjust the camber on them.
al check the gap see if there different
