still trying to fit my twin 40's,
now the dizzy i have brought off of a 1.2 carb engine dont fit my cam shaft,
can some body please tell me exactly what parts they purchased etc,
sadly she is doin my head in, so close too finishing too,
just to clarify in still using the original coil, and the cam is a kent cam.
if anybody also wants to get there hands dirty i will pay well if some one will finish the job for me or they know a good tuning company to do it,
cheers
Andy

Hmm, the dizzy should fit.
As usually kent cams have both slot and pin drives, for both dizzy types.

Ive had them yeah.

I used a 1.4sr ignition system.
But my kent cam fitted both a 1.4 dizzy and a 1.2 dizzy.s
Yours should too.

Whats the end of the cam look like? Does it not have a slot in?

it has one center hole then a smaller one below it for locating the dizzy etc,
but my dizzy has two locating holes thus dont fit

Hmm, weird.
My kent had a slot, and a outer pin hole.

If yours just has the pin holes, then you'll have to get a pin drive dizzy, off a 1400 8v carb engine.
You'll need the ignition coil and module to it too tho.
