Hi. I've just been informed that the shafts i've kept back from my corsa won't fit my nova xe so it looks like i'll be purchasing some conversion shafts as the car is off the road atm due to snapping a "home made" shaft. I've been offered a pair of tapered conversion shafts (cali inner c/v's and nova outers) but been asked to make a sensible offer. What are they worth? I was hoping to use the mtec hubs that i have from my corsa which would use a mtec/ chris astley style shaft but they're ?67.50 each plus carriage.Are the tappered ones/nova hubs strong enough to handle 200 bhp? do you or do you know anyone who uses the tapered shafts? There's a chap selling some shafts on ebay atm and he said he was running 300 bhp through nova hubs and he never had a problem. Please help as i'll have to make a choice tomorrow so i can get the car back for the weekend. Cheers :thumb:
