C20XE into combo

Just wondering what the mods are?
Would you still have to do the alternator cut-out? 2L hubs and 22 spine driveshafts?
Or will the driveshaft of the 1.7d be suitable?
What about the the engine mounts and the tie-bar brackets? Cheers Tom

its a deisel unfortuanately, would it need new fuel tank ect?

New engine mounts, and probably the chassis altering to take a normal petrol mount.
New fuel tank/lines etc yeah.
And probably a lot of the loom changing(clocks etc are all different)

just drill and tap the chassis for the mount type 2 mount kit(basically a nova type mount that bolts on to the shell), basicaly the same, no cutting should be required

iirc dave marshal off the old pvg and mig has an xe combo, never actually saw it completed though. Think chris astley was building one too.

I am doing and xe into a nova diesal van, But i am not changing the loom. i will let you no how i get on but from what i can see the wiring is a piece of p*ss

When one of my mates was at gatebil this year their was a turbo combo van that was running stupid power,will have to ask him if he got somes pics of it.
