got the mot coming up soon, worried it will fail on emitions, anyone know how to tweak it to reduce it? also will my peco backbox effect it? :thumb:

A reet good hammering generally helps.
You need a gas analyser to set the carb spot on.
If it fails, just get the tester adjust it
if its a 1991 then the test is very leaniant (SP) and it isnt hard to pass the emissions at all. The car is only started and put onto the tester for about 15 seconds and the rest is just visual checks iirc.
Yep, the >93 test is the harder one. TBH if a 1.0 fails the emissions it'd have to be running like a dog lol
Redex do various petrol additives which may help, not sure if they do any emissions based ones though. If they do, don't use them right before the test as they'll probably spike the emissions before bringing them down

Thats usually only for CAT equipped cars, as it needs to be warm to be working properly.
