Single Point Injection.... SPI kinda gave it away huh ;)

Where does a single point injection engine have SPI written on it?
How do you know its is SPI? That I dont understand.....

just want to know if its a decent block...
if i get a car and manifold from a 1.4 sr will that work??

Stu will know for sure but I think the SPi used lower compression than the SR lumps, so the outright power output may be lower. Also the head ports may be different too, so you need an SR head.
Check.
Spi head and block is identical to the Sr one.
Its a better all-round engine than the 1400SR one too imo.(just gayly restricted as standard)
If the airbox has two bolts, its spi. If three, its carb.
Theres a load of other differences too but i wont bore you with them lol
thanks mate so if you were gettin it for free youd put it in???
Well, its only 14/15hp gain over a 1L.
I wouldn't bother tbh.
think il just go with my e16se plan
cheers
