My Gran's place over looks the fairfield where our display is on Thursday night. Perhaps I'll get some pics of that. Should be easy being that close...

:D Yeah the palm tree one does look cool... shame its a bit blurry, was zoomed out quite far on that one.

Most of them was point and hope for the best. I think I took about 50 in total, those are the pick of the bunch. Got a few nice shots of my window as well... lol

I've got a few from our local village - thought theyd be poop but they scared the shi1te out of me - fecking HUGE!

For those interested, taken with a Canon 350D, standard 18-55 kit lens and a Sigma 70-300mm zoom. ISO 200 on bulb setting for approx 2-4 secs a shot...tripod mounted (although it was a tad windy)

Id tried taking some, but my cams a ****e fixed focus/zoom effort, so is not good for anything further than about 50foot away,Lol.

I might go out again tonight with a tripod and fix the focus as well, see if they come out any better. Only problem is I can't see sh!t from my patio, can't fit a tripod in my window, and my garage roof is made of asbestos so don't really fancy standing out on that lol

Ash, yeah out my house. My bedroom looks out over most of Yeovil, and I could see across to the showground.
