^^^ sexual. plan is to get it in and runningbut in the mean time keep looking on ebay etc for inlet manifold set-up. i like this conversion. its real new meets old, still a light enough engine unlike the c20xe. shouldnt be too bad on the handling either

it looks like its going to be a tight enough squueze never mind making room for a turbo lol anyone know if i can use my alternator and crank pulley off my 1.2 nova as i dont want to take the hammer to the chassis leg

The alternator pulley will fit but you need a SRi or late GSi single V pulley with the crank trigger pick ups (C14SE or C16SE) they arent too expensive from Vauxhall if you cant find 2nd hand.

The alternator belt tension adjuster arm will need figuring out too.

I ran the poly v-belt on mine, Peester now has the car, i'm sure he'll host a pic.

The wide belt does fit as John said.
But the single v gives more room, which is always handy.

I used a alternator tension lever off an engine i found in the scrappy, i cut a slot down it with a grinder for the alt bolt. I'll find pics later.
But a much cooler solution is some m8 rod, and rose joints.

I hope you got the transponder chip, and the pickup barrel with it.

Good choice of engine tho, there good even in standard form. Sound cool.
Inlet swap is best with a remap.
A decent inlet box, and megasquirt would be cool imo.
