Slow progress

Well ive slowly been working on mine trying to get some done while im waiting for some other bits to arrive. We finished off the tophat and is now painted and tidied up a bit. Made up a bracket to hold the ecu inside the car with easy access to the front so I can plug in the lap top. Also all the boost pipes are now done with a well bo new Blitz BOV (well got it cheap s/h) which should be able to get rid of enough gas as opposed to the 10mm diameter one it had before.

I was also going to fit up the nitrous line but i dont have enough line / unions left after the 1lt nitrous incident last weekend.

^ lol fit out a 1.0 pushrod engine with 100bhp+ of nitrous and basically erm....blow it to bits :D

What ecu ? and why on earth are you still using that inlet ?

I would also think carefully with mounting your nitrous fogger where it is ;) not a chance that will flow equally down each port fyi

Either direct port it or stick the fogger in the silicone hose further away from the tb

Personally I dont see the inlet being as much a restriction as people make out, it isnt that bad designed. With regards to the nitrous we have already have a think about this an are going to try a few things when its back up an running but it will still be single injector. Still trying not to spend any money, might turn out I need to get a different inlet but I want to see what a bigger tophat an pipes are going to do first.
