my new leather gsi interior

hi everyone

just got back today from collecting my leather gsi interior i had done, im still waiting on the door cards but the seats look awsome:D . ive had them done in black and a very pale grey almost silver to match the car with black piping

I've just spent last 2 hours scratching my head looking at how to mount my RS Recaro's. I envy you having std fitment Nova seats tbh.

it was ?1100 inc seats headrests and front and rear door cards, he is also gonna sort me out on the carpet he's doing me, im skint this months now and needles to say the wife is not best pleased lol

cheers craig lol i dont envy that job much, spose the only way is weld some brackets to a std nova subframe and then to the metal frame on the recaro seat bottom

i know it could have been done for ?800 but i wanted a higher grade leather hide ordered its alot thicker so im hoping the side bolsters last alot longer, it also looks much nicer as the leather grain is alot corser and more defined

If you can justify the price then its all good IMO.

Its no different to a grand on a respray.

Think I've sussed the seat mounts, but its a bit of engineering/machining & welding.

Altho a "complete" show car need the interior to be equally as good :)

i can see what your saying mate but theres gonna be alot more than ?1100 spent else where on the car lol the wheels have cost me ?1355. im pulling my finger out now as i want to get the car done now and to a few meets next summer and finally meet a few of you png crew

yeah i put a ?1000 deposit down and ordered a arden blue one it was being delivered from a liverpool vauxhall dealers as a ex demo with vey low milage but they made a massive mistake as it already had a deposit put down on it, so mega lucky for me as i decided to keep the nova as i would have lost ?1000 but i never:D

Craig the problem you'll have is sitting higher, IME any seat other than Nova ones sit very high

I love retrimmed standard seats.

Shameless plug I know but I will have a full set of retrimmed leathers for sale very shortly.

They are black and a grey colour that matches all the grey interior parts.

Bit of a safe choice tho, personally i'd of gone for a Deep Blood Red, or Burnt Orange/Dark Tan colour, on a silver car it looks very smart ;)
