Hello all,
Just a quickie. Whats the best way to measure Dbs :? ??
Cheers
hey m8, the best way 2 get ur sounds tested is to pop along to a local show/ ice dealers that does ice events etc and pay a wee bi ov cash (i pay ?5) and then you can get ur db measured! all they do is put a special mic in ur car and then u turn up the tunes till ur speakers cant take no more and then they will tell u ur reading, when i do mine a get as many goes as i want at it :-) this means that u have a chance 2 change settings on ur amps and crossovers etc to see what cums up the loudest on the meter
hope this helps

Cheers mate :) . Most useful. Might try and get a before and after !!
At the moment, im running a shitty pro-plus sub from a Maystar amp, with 6x9s, 8"s and 5" !! And it sounds awful !!
Getting a new system, doing it as we speak (not literally). Gonna stick in 2 Infinity 10" 1020w subs (seperate boxs) powered by an Infinity 4way amp. Upgraded the 6x9s to pioneer, along with the 8"s and the 5"s !! But still running a Sony 4x50w head unit !
Some tool hire companys hire em out! try their prices.
Try hss tool hire, brandon tool hire, e.t.c......
