I dont think there is anything needed on that loom, its all to do with non essential trip computers etc. IIRC there maybe 1 black one that supplys accesory live to the ecu, but that my be on a seperate 1 pin connector only.

theres a plug on it for the gearbox, a plug for oil thing in the sump at the front, the alternator wires and started motor wires, also the black wire, now if i dont need this part of the loom then im gonna have to make a loom of sorts coz i dont want to have my 1.4 loom still in the engine bay if anyone is clever then maybe a couple of diagrams would help me cheers

Its part of the car loom on the donor car(hence the alt wires)
Use the nova loom for the starter/alt etc.

The black will probably need an ign live wiring up.

so if i was just to take the black wire and extend it to my ignition then ill not need the rest of the loom.

what about the oil sensor located at the front of the sump is that wire needed?

also if u no the little sensor located on the right hand side of the inlet manifold think its the air tank sensor or fuel tank sensor is it possible to take it off and run with out it help needed
