thanks lee i think they look good myself but where shall i put the indicators?
hmmm
I want some for the track car. I'd probably use the inside lights as indicators and put a twin element bulb into the other two :) But then i dont have to worry about being legal on a track car lol
Golf MK1 or2 indicators can be sunk into the bumper. Or motorbike ones work, you just need to make sure the bulb is bright enough.

any idea what the law states about where the indicators have to be i know they will have to be wide enough appart but any idea on how low ie in the splitter

Dude did you re-paint my old boot?
Was/is in good nick and had never been touched (you could see where i took the grifin graphic off) thats all.
I recon you should of had the front bumper/headlights done though mate, as the mach up on them is too dark.
As for coding i would just do handles and skirts in huracane grey (or that bumper grey paint from helfrauds)
Scott
PS: and get a mk5 astra spliter on front nothing els! ;-)

cheers bud the 2.0 8v seems a bit slow but when i brought it it still had a 1.4
fuel pump on but got my 2.0 fuel pump of ebay delivered today
the bodywork is spot on and well pleased with it but now the new arches are on i can't get my wheels on without rubbing on the back but tyres are 50's
so im gonna try 45s does anyone know what the best tyres are for having flat sidewalls ie clearance on back arch the 50's only just catch but want a bit o clearance:thumb:
if they are 16inch wheels use 195/45/16 tyres they wont rub then i had this size on my old nova and they didnt catch.

they are 15's
and 60mm drop
go for 195/45/15 tyres then should give u plenty of clearance i also had this size on my old nova before i changed to 16s.

think the offset of the wheels are letting the fitment down but i love em and could'nt part with them it's only a matter of 2mm
2mm shouldnt make a big difference
just vaux trev
22-11-07, 09:01 PM
no 2mm shouldnt make that much differance but it deffo does
it's only 3mm away from being 5mm and 5mm is the differance between
45's and 50's tyres even 1 mm can mean fitting a set of wheels or not on a nova
