1.4 sr rev limiter

ok so maybe im thick - i dont thrash my car so wouldnt no BUT

do 1.4SR have a rev limiter as standard like gsi/gte ?

do all cars have rev limiters?

ive never really thrashed a car that much 2 c

I don't think the 1.4SR has a limiter, it just revs.....revs some more...and then valve bounce!! lol.

generally carbed cars dont have a rev limiter. you can buy one though.

so no, ur 1400sr doesnt have a rev limiter. as for thrashing a car???? hmm, most cars see near 7000rpm once in their life, lol, i had me cav turbo off the limiter in 3rd on way home from work at just over 95mph, needless to say i continued on to over 140mph before having to slow down for road works.

that aint really thrashing it though, coz it will do over 160, ie off the clock
