I changed to a 1.8 head.....

got a 2.0 8V C20NE bottom end, with the 1.8 head (big valve), cambox and rocker cover which all bolts together n looks sweet. I am doing it so i can run the early mk2 dizzy for my R1 carbs, However.......

The rocker covers and cam boxes are different between the 1.8 and 2.0... on the 2.0 the dipstick flange also has a pipe running to the cam box.. yet this is not on the 1.8 one, its on the top of the rocker cover....

So, do i need to use the 1.8 dipstick with no feed? is it just a breather or what???

all very confusing... any help much appreciated! and photos even better!

It'll just be a breather, can you connect it to the one on the cover?

Use the 1.8 cam housing (for the dizzy you need)

Route the breather from dipstick to cam/rocker cover.
