Water leak

My XE nova has a water leak coming from around the crankshaft sensor, there seems to be quite a big leak.

I cant see it properly and i have no access to a ramp or jack at the moment...plus im 100 miles from where i live lol

Anyone got any ideas as to where this could be coming from?

Top hose? head gasket?

its defo not the top hose its running down the block, my thoughts were head gasket but that would mean it has seriously gone for the amount of water running down.

Just to make matters worse ive found that the timing belt has been rubbing against the cover and it has worn down a bit at the sides :wtf:
