hi does any one no if all redtop thermostates are the same like astra,cav,calibra.

put new cav in my calibra redtop engine which is in my nova and took calibra thermostate out and it stayes on 3 quartes on digi dash but old on was on half way any ideas

theyre all the same dan, get a cool running stat off eBay they open at 82 deg, not 92 deg.

1. They make your heaters cr@p
2. the 20xe engine management is mapped for 92c

yes but when using nova rad its a liitle small for a 2ltre

Ive run my nova valver with a 1.2 rad for almost 6 years with no over heating issues at all (std thermostat)

ok well i think it is my water pump because took hose off the top of header tank and put the revs up to 2000 and it did not seem to poor out as much as i think nit should could you tell what it should be like thanks
