ive gotta say dellortos aswell, had em on me 1600 8v and 48's on me 2litre 16v,

webber trade by their name and therefore prices are stupid... plus the dellortos are better on Vaux kit

Personally i'd go for Weber's. A set of 40's should be going on my 2.0 8V :D

I'm not sure about them being "better on Vaux kit" but i'd say parts are readily available for them, whereas you don't see as many Dellorto stockists.

you never heard of euro carb???? feck me they stock delortos.

delortos are much more refined than webers therefore better. also produce slightly better power figures

Wouldn't have any problem with having either sets.... both are pretty much the same.

Though you would probably find more parts for webbers second hand.

Got set up ok and sound sweet :) only voted for them though cos ive never had webers so cant compare

Deffo Dellortos run better wit vaux engines from what ive come across from rallying to road use :drinking:

dellortos ARE better carbs by far. get some dellortos, everyone after 3, 1-2-3, get some dellortos. yeeee haaaarrgghhh
