That looks like a beaut skip. If only it was a 4 door! You could go for the old skool almost gangsta look!

Paint it Black and somehow get some chrome bumpers.

failing that rat look!

Carbs will sound good!

i reckon you'll struggle tbh, i've looked into this before. best bet would probably be some ate vented 236's with good discs and even better pads! Or look for some sort of custom four pots.
Saloon looks well sweet on those rims!! What offset are they? what size tyres are they running?

burgo

Steve
19-01-08, 01:35 PM
I was pointing the finger at 17s mostly as 16s aren't that popular, and im not going to bother with the speedline argument again, presonally I dont see what the big deal is with them.

saloonwoody
13-02-08, 08:26 PM

nova23 , its gonna go the same colour but cant decide if to mold the arches in or not ???

Jack
13-02-08, 08:49 PM
Hmm, not surer if I like wide arches on a saloon. Not sure how the rear would look with the boot on the back.

Would be interesting to see a full pic of the whole car with the arches tacked in place - get a decent size one and someone may 'shop the arches to the right colour to make them look properly fitted...

saloonwoody
13-02-08, 09:32 PM
ill get a full side pic tomorrow then someone might shop it for me ?

Novasport
13-02-08, 09:49 PM
As the arches are I dont think they look correct, they need to stretch further back imo.
The look needs to be more along the lines of...

http://images.worldcarfans.com/articles/2002/1/7/1020107.001/1020107.001.1M.jpg

Problem is with Nova saloons is the rear quarter & overhang is very long!

Stoo
13-02-08, 09:56 PM
suppose you could cut it in half and extend it?

J4MES
14-02-08, 03:39 PM
I like your style!! ;) Cant wait to see the results, cus I love hatch arches on a 'loon!!

Nice idea the wide arch saloon.

Only the rear arches need to be extended until the rear end and the rear bumper needs to get along the lines of the rear arches.

Apart of that, great project.

21-05-08, 10:57 PM
So are the front wings fibreglass add ons to metal wings?

I think the company is called SID if they are like I mentioned above...

If they are all fibreglass I would be intersted in buying a pair.

It's not bad but the rear arches really neede to be extendended, because it looks like the wide arches weren't made for this variant of the Nova.

Apart of that, great project.

saloonwoody
26-05-08, 08:29 AM
