Whats the score with the oil cooler .been told too get gid of it . or is it best too keep it on .will it run ok without:confused:
on a road car you dont need it it might even damage the engine by over cooling the oil, for track use maybe keep it fitted just take it off if its a road car and buy the adaptor off vauxhall.

why would it come standard on the engine if its not needed
because on some cars it was needed..... those that towed etc. and as the engine was never desined for a nova they didnt not fit one as it was cheaper to make ALL have a cooler than to not fit to a few (production lines are odd places lol)
i use one on my road car, have done for a few years.
