Oil and water pumps

I hadn't really thought about this till recently, but im thinking it's worth changing them before I fit the engine.... correct?

I can find a water pump for a 1.6 easy, but can only find 1.3/1.3 oil pumps - is there any differance at all between 1.2/1.3 and 1.6?

I pulled apart and cleaned my current one before I refitted it, but that was it. I don't really want it letting lose whilst im hooning round a track at 7k rpm lol

ASH just did the same sorta thing as your self, new water pump i have had an auto tensher for my cam belt. What iv done now is lose the crapy VX tensher for the cam and go solid one, then the water pump use one off the 1.6.16v engine same fitment but better, regarding the oil pump sorry i can't help im going to keep to the same one only done 75k or so so should be ok, plus if it dose go pop new lump time
