bought a nova the other week and i obviously need to find out the paintcode to spray my bumpers and bonnet. i will go to a bodyshop to help match the colour cos apparantly they easily can do, but in the meantime was wondering if any of you recognised the colour?

by the way, i know its not a standard nova colour. but wondered if it was another vaux colour.
looks like ceramic blue or polar sea blue could be wrong tho

think the original colour was a really dark blue, cos the insides of the doors and boot is, but it def has a black tint to it now and looks to be a totally different colour

Why not ask the guy that you bought it off..
Or check the documents.

Hmm... TBH your best bet is to ask the owner before you for the owner before him contact details.
And then you can be sure what colour it is and not have someone f(_)ck ya nova up by giving you the wrong paint.

itl be near impossible to get in touch with that owner tho so that really isnt an option. il be spraying the bumpers myself so if i am given the wrong code it wont be too much of a problem. all i want to do really is be able to go down halfords Lol and just buy the correct spray, but obviously before this im going to need to know what it is :(
what are the different blacks vauxhall did? maybe i could google the diffferent colours and see if theres a black that looks the same.

thats the problem ray, the wing mirrors were m3 ones and seem to be silk violet, along with the front bumper. the rear bumper was a crappy kitted one and doesnt seem to be the same colour. was going to take the spoiler but that is a deep gloss black. i would take the old bonnet but id be embarrassed carrying a nova bonnet with a gti-r vent in it lol :(
il probs just snap the vent off and take that in...
wheres bcn?
You can't tell a colour from a photo, especially one thats been taken under artificial lighting.
Take the car round to a bodyshop, or halfrauds, and ask them to mix and match some paint for you.

As said before just take a small panel to any motorfactors that sell paint and theyll be able to mix some for you.
