thanx for the advice previously . . . now - the plot thickens.

The bloke down't garage says the box he has is an 'f15' box - but he doesn't know what kind of nova it came off of - all it says is f15.

Can anyone tell me which model an f15 box comes from, and how I can identify if it is an f15'c' - (close ratio)corsa SRi jobbie . . .

cheers.

F15 is probably a corsa one, and there will be a number stamped on the end like 3.94c (if my memory serves me correctly) the number is the final drive ratio, the c denotes close ratio.

The box will be a standard f15 from a corsa, the close ratio ones usually have the "C" stamped on after the no. So you want one with F15C on it. Thats how all the F13C, F16C ones are marked anyway. cheers Paul.
