My new Nova...again [Archive] - Performance Nova Group

Here is my new Nova i just bought from 'Christ' on here.

It was originally a 1.4 SR and was converted to a 2.0 16v, it needs the offside chassis leg replaced at the spring seat and the nearside leg needs welded up. This will keep me busy during the winter months!

Front or rear needing welding?

Looks cool, alll XE's should have tidy rocker covers though.

Engine bay needs wiper mount & motor cleaning, run the header through the dishwasher, paint up the rocker cover & add a heatshield over the exhaust manifold.

Ive been told by the girlfriend that im not allowed to sell this one!

It's the rear chassis legs that need sorted out, once ive done that the rocker cover is getting painted and then just a general tidy up in the engine bay and bits of the bodywork that need tidied up.

Once thats done and i still have the car lol ill think about tuning it a bit

yeh it does sit at an angle but ive checked the engine and gearbox mounts and both are fine. If i keep the car then the engine is coming out so i can check the engine bay properly for any rot and it needs a good clean up so will be able to tell more then
