newbie here :) pics of current cars...

hi, a few of you may know me if you're a corsasport user, and for those of you who dont ul be happy to hear that iv moved on (sort of) from corsas and got myself a few novas
i could write for hours telling you the past 12 months of what iv done to my corsa and my nova and have around 1000 pics but i think a few of them will do just for now...
this is the corsa, iv had it for years. bought it kitted up with the intention of splitting it and starting from scratch, drove it for 2 weeks and then stored it for 15months and last september finally got it back to my house and basically uprated/fixed every single thing on it. may not be to everyones taste but it was a great learning curve for me and i love it, will never ever part without it.

im currently storing it in my unit and planning on stripping it all down again and fitting everything perfect and one day getting rid of the SRi engine and putting something decent in.

then last week i bought another nova, just wanted the shell as i wanted a stripped out valver but didnt want to mess with the white one as the engine is MINT!

im just going to chuck a GSi kit on it i think, but keep the skirts. was going to get a novadose front bumper cos i fancied a change, but i reckon with a gsi kit on with the red stripe and wheels sprayed rover hurricane grey i reckon itl look alright. then once iv got my hands on a redtop il fit it, never done one before but im sure itl be fun doing so.

Nice improvement to the white one I must say, it was looking well shonky as you bought it, however saving Novas is the way to go these days, just because they have fallen into the wrong hands doesnt mean the car has to die at the claws of a crusher.

The most notable car with the K***AGS plate is / was Brett Warburtons SRi.

and ye the white was a right shed when i got it, everybody kept asking me what im doing and why i got it, but i knew that it only needed some bumpers really and a good tidy up. bought it for ?500 and a few weeks later after spending just over ?100 on it the old owner offered me ?900 lol. im not selling them tho, novas arnt worth selling imo, theyre way too much fun for the money.

i should had posted pics up of the black one when i got it, its ten times worse than the white one were. but thats the fun of it, bringing crap cars back to the state they deserve to be in. no point getting loans out buying new cars, rather work with a banger and get the respect for doing it and having a hell of a good time doing it.

ste, ye you should recognise my name lol off CS. maybe its a good thing that you dont remember why tho lol. a shame ian will NEVER let me back tho, he only has to look at my previous 12 months to see that iv changed, but oh well...

i keep meaning to go to another NW meet, but im not sure if im welcome or not lol, as sad as it sounds.

the unit is ?170 a month. its alright at the moment but during rainy periods it does leak in lol. if i decide i am keeping it im going to tidy it up a little. like paint all the walls white and get some tool boxes/cabinets in and stuff like that.

about 4 years ago when i used to go down there, i used to park behind about 10 white novas lol. ul know my best mate paul then wont you from padiham/clitheroe? hes had like 10 novas, think a white one in the cav days and then had a few blue ones and has a black gsi rep now on white speedies.

where does everybody go at nights now? i never ever see novas about really now. go don burnley a few times and i usually have the only one.

the paul im on about must had caved in his first white on years ago cos he had filler on. but the only black one he has had is the one he has now but the quarters havnt been caved in.

i see some random cars up at cav, but never see the nova boys. maybe the odd time theyre at accy mcds tho. you should get a reunion meet up or something lol, im sure blackburn has the most novas than any other town :| just a shame theyre all in hiding now.

ye i went blackburn college 4/5 years ago. had a silver corsa b at first and then had a black vtr which was standard at the time. both had my reg on.
