Then fitted some 60/40 FK springs (the back sat too low and the tires rubbed in the arches so now i need another arch job)

It is a standard 1.4 SPI with an 1.6 TB
Plans are:
get some koni sports
arch job
roll cage
cav gsi brakes in front (already have them along with some new brembo disks and mintex pads)
bucket seat (already have it)
engine conversion (not sure which way to go as I want to enter a hillclimb championship and regulation says class X2- under 1600cc which means C16SE or a X/C16XE)
any opinions welcome :)

If you're limited by displacement, then definately go for a 16valve engine if you can source one. :thumb:
I hear ya :)
Look what i got today:

"Then i tested how tough a Polo MK1 was"
That made me laugh :) Nice car - looks much better lowered
It was a nice car :( I hit a wall yesterday (good thing i got my bucket seat and harness fitted the previous day), so i`ll probably be looking for a new shell now. A white one (always liked those cars in white or blue, but blue is so hard to find). Also if I can get my hands on an MK1 cav the nova will be on hold for a while...

Wee bit of update:
The car was revived :wisewood: :wisewood:
I got a pug 306 XSi for a runaround car so I stripped out the corsa:

Fitted the 256mm brakes:
http://images25.snimka.bg/005509351-big.jpg
Next thing to do was suspension. I found these at a good price:

Bilstein B6 with Eibach 40mm springs. Traded them in for my stock suspension and got them fitted. I also fitted new lower arms. I also removed the front ARB.

Ran 8th time of 15 cars in my class (under 1600cc). Not bad for a 1.4.

Nice wee track you have there down your end of Europe! Enjoyed watching you fly round. Love the sideways action at 0:56 in the video! :thumb:
Judging by the track layout (a temporarily closed road?) it looks like Bulgaria isn't hampered by rules and regulations. Just throw a couple of tire stacks down a nice bit of tarmac and you're off. Great stuff. :)
It is a go-kart track. Very narrow and twisty. That is why only two cars can be on the track at the same time.. and no overtaking :). My best time was 49.5 seconds, which should give you an idea how short the track is.
