SR lower vinyl colours

Is there a difference in the Mk1 & Mk2 lower vinyl colours. I'm building my white sx into a sr and want her white over dark grey. Also were can i get the door mouldings/bump strips with blue strip, Thanks

By different colours i mean are they a different shade of grey.

IIRC there was a variation in the vinyl. It was always grey but some cars had a blue tint to the vinyl &/or bumpers.

Someone may correct me.

As for side mouldings, they dont remove very easily I've found, so finding a 2nd hand set could be tricky. Try a price from a dealer or see if anyone has a new set lying about.

Thought someone told me there was vinyl with a blue tint, prob not very noticeable maybe?
My local dealer says most nova stuff like that has dried up now:(

Yes, its barely noticeable, only really in comparison to the straight grey stuff alongside.

And it is no longer stocked by GM dealers.

Source it from a local sign writers. Maybe take in a picture of an SR to show what you are trying to achieve.
