no mot or tax but all it needs for mot is windscreen

was going to put it in for its mot next week but got a new car

worth nothing without mot imo, if it only needs a windscreen chuck 12months mot on and ul get much more for it.

thats bull****. just because a car dosen't hav an MOT dosen't mean its worthless. if a 3year old Merc was for sale and didn't hav an MOT would you say its worth nothing? I'd like to think not.
even with an MOT Nova's are worth sod all. I sold mine and broke my GTE because they are ****e to drive and to old and rusty. but I still like the way they look.

You cant compare a 3 year old luxury car to 17? year old nova.
Not having an mot seriously devalues the car, as the buyer has to add on the cost of the mot, plus any possible repairs it needs to pass, plus can't legally drive the thing home. That seriously limits the number of people likely to buy it, which puts them in the position to offer a small amount of money.
All Novas with MOT's worth sod all - I think not.

must agree, novas are worth fcuk all without an mot. you may think it only needs a windscreen but i can assure you as soon as an mot tester gets his 'pokey stick' out... holes start appearing from nowhere!

ive been there, numerous times :wtf:

its worth the 35 quid of putting it in, even if you only get a fail sheet out of it. you can then show prospective buyers 'exactly' what it needs rather than just guessing.
