xe crank sensor bad connection problem

alo, got a nova xe and the crank sensor is playin up theres a bad connection, basically to get it started you need to get some one to keep tappin it wen u crank it over but when u rev will cut out just because of that bad connection, isit a case of just buyin a new one or is there a way of gettin a good connection with the one i have got because it seems in good nick, cheers

Check the loom & the plug connection.

I'd renew tbh, poor starting is a symptom of a knackered crank sensor.

it was new not so long ago, poor pattern part possibly?

Try and borrow a known good one from a working donor car & eliminate it.
